February 2014 : Permanent installation - Italian restaurant "Bella Napoli" - Varese - Ital

February 7th, 2014 – 19:00: Vernissage at Bella Napoli Italian Restaurant, Varese, Italy. Permanent exhibition of 15 translucent large format prints, mounted on trasparent backlit plexiglass and embedded in large white panels, engraved with backlit lines.

The engraved lines have been designed in a joint work between photographer Filippo Zonta and architect Maria Cristina Coppa, aiming at projecting outside the image borders the strong composition lines, framed during the shot. Hence, an extraordinary coupling of interior design and fine art photography. The idea is very original in its great visual impact, fine aesthetics and taste, and pure pleasure in flawless geometry. The sharp cuts, along with the contrasting lights and shades of the panels, almost create an explosion of brightness that continues to spread throughout the rest of the surrounding space.
